Jonathan Rason is the director of the Global Sensory team of FrieslandCampina. He is leading a team of sensory, behavior and flavor experts who ensure that the various products of FrieslandCampina deliver the best product experience to its consumers or customers.

After his PhD in Clermont-Ferrand, France in 2005 on the sensory perception of traditional food and his postdoc in 2007 at Nottingham University in the UK, Jonathan pursued his career in the industry. In 2008, he joined Mars PetCare in Germany as a sensory and consumer scientist. In 2012 he joined Danone-Nutricia Research in the Netherlands as a sensory team leader where he focused on improving the product experience of medical food. In 2018, he joined the R&D department of FrieslandCampina located at Wageningen in The Netherlands.
