Hal MacFie, Hal MacFie Training, UK

Dr. Hal MacFie is a statistician by training, with an international reputation in the areas of product assessment and consumer research. Author of over 100 scientific publications and five books, he was Head of Consumer Science at the Institute of Food Research, Reading England, before becoming Director of the Institute. Dr. MacFie has developed a set of consumer science training courses that are presented globally to industry based and academic sensory scientists on an annual basis. He is a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Reading and Nottingham and was for 20 years a senior Editor of Food Quality and Preference.
