Luisa Torri , University of Gastronomic Sciences, Italy
Luisa Torri earned both her master degree in Food Science and Technology (2002) and her doctorate in Food Biotechnology (2008) from the University of Milan (Italy). At the University of Gastronomic Sciences, she is currently Assistant Professor of Food Sensory Sciences and Director of the Sensory Lab. She sits in the board of the “Italian Society of Sensory Science” and of the “Italian Scientific Group of Food Packaging”. Her research focus is on variables influencing the consumer food preferences and consumer acceptability of innovative foods, as a function of their sensory and nutritional properties.
