The Gala Dinner is now sold out: Delegates interested in attending should contact Lizzy Birnie(Please do not email credit card information under any circumstances).

Please note tickets are still available for the Dance Party.

The title of this 7th edition of the Conference will be fully celebrated throughout the Gala Dinner on Tuesday 13 September. Organised under the high patronage of the Mayor of Dijon, who offers the EuroSense delegates this exceptional privilege, the organisers will be very happy and honoured to welcome you for the Gala Dinner in the historical and prestigious reception rooms of the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy.

You will admire the outstanding decor of the Salle des Etats et Salle de Flore, built in the 17th century and modified at the end of the 19th; they have since been devoted to major official or cultural events of the Township and will open their doors for the first time to the delegates of a scientific conference for EuroSense 2016.

You will be welcomed to the Palace of the Dukes by the Mayor or his deputy with a traditional Kir (white wine from Burgundy and blackcurrant cream) and Gougères.

Burgundy is well known for its gastronomy and to celebrate Taste through all senses: the gala dinner will be prepared by some of the most famous chefs of the area, Jean-Pierre et Alexis Billoux, from the restaurant le Pré Aux Clercs in Dijon and Yves Rebsamen from the restaurant “Chez Guy” in Gevrey Chambertin.

You will enjoy the subtle alliance between contemporary cuisine and traditional Burgundy style in both classical and vegetarian menus.

Afterwards, you will be invited to walk 5 minutes through the historical and pedestrian area from the Palais des Ducs to another historical and beautiful building, the Cellier (cellar) de Clairvaux – the last remaining of the Claivaux Abbey of the Cistercian Order. Then it will be time to dance to music from our DJ and maybe have a last drink all together during your last night in Dijon.

Gala Dinner tickets cost €75.00 + VAT @ 20% = €90.00 per person and should be booking via the online registration system.
