Leatherhead's Sensory & Consumer department offers sensory evaluation and consumer insight research to drive innovation, support product development and measure product quality. The team has experience researching a wide variety of products and techniques and includes experts from different fields.
Leatherhead has trained sensory panels to measure product sensory quality objectively and daily consumer panels to evaluate products hedonically. Quantitative consumer testing is mostly carried out using SenseReach™ on iPads, a consumer research tool featuring Compusense® at-hand. Testing of foods and non-foods can be carried out worldwide, by consumers at home or at specific locations.
