Reetta Kivelä, Nordic Umami Company and University of Helsinki, Finland
Reetta Kivelä is a Professor of Practice at University of Helsinki. Reetta has over 15 years expertise with the interface of food science and business, and plant-based food innovations. She is one of the food technologists, who has performed the whole journey from the idea phase to a globally distributed innovation. She exited her first food startup Gold&Green Foods Oy at 2016 and is currently scaling up a circularity-based startup Nordic Umami Company, involved in several other food startups. At the University of Helsinki Reetta works as a part-time building up Viikki Food design Factory for the needs of future food innovations and innovators.
