Dr. Guido Camps DVM is an Associate Professor at Wageningen University & Research and a researcher at OnePlanet Research Center (The Netherlands). His work bridges nutrition science, artificial intelligence, and data-driven health innovation. Leading the Hungry Robots Lab, his work strives to develop novel approaches to understanding eating behavior and dietary intake in real-world settings, leveraging wearable sensors, machine learning, and digital health technologies.

Current projects include studying and reporting on consumer food preparation and acceptance at home using AI, using machine vision to detect parent-child food interaction and estimating portion size and macronutrient composition using hyperspectral imaging. His hobbies include extreme baking, the outdoors and getting multi-coloured eggs from his chicken coop.
